A. J. Kingsbury, Antigo; Wisconsin
Original RPPC of 2 native American men standing in front of a wigwam. The text on the postcard reads "76x Scene at an Indian Wigwam. Copyright 1908 by A. J. Kingsbury, Antigo, Wis". The photographer is A. J. Kingsbury who was based in Antigo, Wisconsin, and was known for Images of Ojibwe and Menominee Indians in northeast Wisconsin and Michigan?s Upper Peninsula. The originals are hard to find as they are typically purchased by universities, libraries, and historical societies.
Divided back post card (these were produced starting around 1907) and postally used (1910 postmark).
