"Any old place is home" Real Photo Post Card A. J. Kingsbury, Antigo; Wisconsin Original RPPC of a native American woman standing next to a smoking camp fire and a collection of baskets. The text on the postcard reads "x105. 'Any old place is home' Copyright 1908 by A. J. Kingsbury, Antigo, Wis". The photographer, Kingsbury, was based in Antigo, Wisconsin, and was known for Images of Ojibwe and Menominee Indians in Wisconsin and Michigan?s Upper Peninsula. The originals are hard to find as they are typically purchased by universities, libraries, and historical societies. Divided back post card, postally used (postmark hard to read but likely 1910).
