Item description
This is a vintage 1955 Book Club edition of "The Boy Who Made Good" by Mary Deasy. The mid century novel follows the story of a golden boy war-hero turned politician who turns to drink after losing his wife in a car accident and his rocky road from fallen to redemption. The 70 year old hardback book in in good shape with the cover and pages still tightly bound. There is some age related yellowing and staining on the inside cover. The dust jacket is in poor condition with many rips and tears.
