Item description

This is The Wreck of the Mary Deare by Hammond Innes. (#0275) It is the complete book, 3rd printing in 1959 by Perma Books of New York. The Mary Deare was a floating deathtrap of rattling rivets and clanging plates, a piece of leaking ironmongery taken off the junk heap of the China Seas. This is the story of her last voyage, a dreadful, battered passage during which the evil forces of nature were outdone by the evils of men. The book is in fair condition, but readable. There is some writing on the inside cover. Some loose pages, discolored, but there are no missing or torn pages. The binding is coming loose. Please see pix for a complete description. ***FREE SHIPPING OFFERED ONLY IF PURCHASED WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL USA***
