Here we have a superb handmade artisan pink rhodonite sterling silver brooch dating to the mid century period. The large rhodonite cabochon has the most beautiful variegated mottled tones and a lovely high polish. This stunning cab measures approximately 18mm in diameter by 10mm high. Surrounding the central pink cabochon there are sensuously curved arcs of sterling silver which radiate outwards in a gently slightly asymmetric design. It is marked for sterling silver although the mark is somewhat obscured. In total this pin weighs approximately 11.1 grams. It measures approximately 1 7/16" wide by 1 1/4" tall (37mm x 32mm).
