Item description

These are one to two years old seedlings, established roots, put them in the ground, ready to start growing fast up and away. Approximately Twelve to Sixteen Inch Tall (12"-16" TALL) (NOTE: Our seedlings have the small roots and hair roots on the tap root, unlike most others, that only have a bare main tap root. This is due to we grow ours in nursery pots, as others grow theirs in the ground. When digging up the seedling, special care is given to get as much of the roots system, as possible. By preserving the root ball this gives our seedling the highest rate of survival.) (April - September) Seedlings will arrive with the leaves trimmed off due to shock of handling, however it will bounce back with new green foliage in time. Best to plant first in nursery pot, to grow more. This will help with getting it well established, to plant in Fall/Winter/Spring. (October - March) Seedlings will arrive with no leaves, due to they are dormant, however it will produce new foliage in spring. This is the best time to plant directly in ground. We recommend growing them for one season, in nursery pots, so that they become well established.
