Muconasal Plus Spray is indicated for the relief of swelling of the nasal mucosa, for example in upper respiratory tract inflammation and hay fever. It is also used to facilitate secretion in sinus inflammation and otitis media, by prescription.
The active ingredient of Mukonasal plus constricts the blood vessels, thereby reducing swelling of the nasal mucosa. This leads to a long-term decrease in nasal secretion. Usually, local vasoconstriction occurs within 5 minutes, which lasts from 8 to 10 hours.
