Dependent on materials and applied pressure. III. Instructions for use Preparation of materials: The surfaces to be bonded must be dry (humidity for wood 8-12%) and clean. Laminate and metal should be degreased with gasoline or acetone. To increase the bond strength, it is recommended to additionally clean metal surfaces with sandpaper. Before gluing, keep the materials at room temperature (from +18C to +25C). Painted surfaces must be pre- cleaned. Applying the adhesive: Moment Classic adhesive should be applied evenly to both surfaces to be bonded, especially carefully along the edges, using a notched trowel or a brush with short bristles. Hanging time: Before joining the parts to be bonded, it is necessary to hold at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes after applying the adhesive. Important information: After 15 minutes of holding, gluing is possible for another 2 hours. After holding, a visible film of adhesive should form on the surface of the materials to be bonded. When gluing porous and highly absorbent materials, it may be necessary to apply an additional layer of adhesive. Before joining the surfaces, make sure that the adhesive is dry to the touch, it should not stick to your fingers or stretch. Gluing / pressure: Connect the surfaces to be bonded carefully and precisely, because Once the surfaces have been joined, no correction is possible. Press the surfaces to be bonded firmly (pressure - 0.5 N/mm = 5 kg/cm or more). The strength of the bond does not depend on the duration, but on the strength of the applied pressure. Pressure for a few seconds is sufficient. For large surfaces, such as laminate and metal sheets, use a press or rolling with a special roller. Press from the center to the edges to avoid air accumulation. Glue the edges carefully.
