Item description

Detroit Dark Red is a classic heirloom beet variety known for its rich, deep red roots. The beets are round, smooth, and perfect for roasting, pickling, or enjoying fresh. They have crispy, sweet, and tender flesh To plant Detroit Dark Red beet seeds, follow these steps: Direct sow the seeds outside 4 weeks before the last expected frost. Soften the seeds by soaking them in water for 2-4 hours. Plant the seeds in full sun and well-drained soil. Sow the seeds 1" deep and 1" apart in rows 1-2' apart. Tamp down the soil above the seeds to ensure good contact with the soil. Expect germination in 5-15 days. 1st class mail is used so there is no tracking. If you prefer tracking i recommend paying the extra fee for upgraded shipping which is 1 fee for as many packs of seeds as you want and alot quicker delivery Be sure to check out my shop for alot of other vegetable and fruit seeds
