This is the newest board layout of the legendary JC-80 preamplifier. The original JC-80 was designed by John Curl. John Curl once commented this is the best preamplifier he has ever designed. This revised board version has the below improvement over the old version : 1. The trace and grounding are carefully considered and routing improved. 2. The servo circuitry has changed to lead type components. This allow better, audio grade components to be used on servo section. This is a mono design. Two boards are required to form a stereo amplifier. Board Dimension : 130mm x 135mm. Thickness : 1.6mm. Copper thickness : 70um ( 4 times normal thickness) Surface : Gold plated.
