All natural wood furniture polish. My mother requested, a number of years ago, that I make a natural furniture polish. This is what I came up with and she liked it. She used out of that jar for quite a number of years. Recently she requested a fresh batch. I am not dedicated to polishing my furniture, so I never used the polish myself! But soon after I had made this second batch I accidentally dropped an alcohol based tincture on my wooden sewing cabinet/desk. It left behind a couple ugly white spots. :( I thought of my polish and decided to give it a try. I applied the polish to the area and left it to set a few minutes, after which I took a soft cotton cloth and rubbed it over the area, then wiped off the excess. I was so delighted! Because the white spots were gone! :) See the photos. Photo number 4 you see the ugly white spots! Photo number 5 is after I used the polish. I do recommend you store the polish in the fridge, as it can eventually (think of several years) go rancid. I am selling it in small (1 1/2 oz.) amber glass jars for that reason and also because the polish goes a long ways. The ingredients are very simple. You could use it to polish your skin if you felt so inclined! Olive Oil, Beeswax and Essential Oils (nothing more). Please feel free to contact me with questions.
