11" Tressy with growing hair was issued by American Character Doll Company starting in 1963. This doll's hair is a light brown. She is missing some paint on her bottom lip. Her grow strand is thin and straggly, and there is a bald-ish spot on the front of her head?there are no empty hair plugs there, she just needs her hair to be restyled to better cover that area. She rattles a little when you shake her, so most likely, a small piece of plastic broke off inside her. She comes wearing her original red dress, no shoes.
