Antique, Birds-eye View Map of Geneva, Kane County, Illinois. Dated 1869. Printed and designed by Merchants Lithographing Co., Chicago. This is not a modern reproduction, although whether or not it may have been printed later than 1869 I am not able to verify. In any case, the matting and framing style clearly indicates this is vintage, if not a first printing which I am inclined to believe it is. Securely matted behind glass, in black and gold wood frame. Frame size measures 17 x 13.25. Condition: Map is complete and intact, with no tears. It has noticeable crinkles, particularly along the bottom center. The matte has some foxing (age spotting). The frame and glass are in excellent condition. Comments:
