Very rare. Impressive antique late 19th century or early 20th-century Indian solid silver bowl, designed in a traditional shape. The bowl features intricate and ornate embossing. The circular body and foot are finely cast and chased with various hunting scenes, including hunters on elephants and horseback, fighting lions, wild boars, tigers, etc. The bowls distinctive design is typical to the region of Poona, located 120 miles south-east of Bombay, Occupied by the British since the 1802. The repousse is very deep, and I do notice, under light, looking from inside of the bowl, there're a couple of very tiny holes between the repousse part and the surface, which is typical on this kind of silver bowls.
