The item is marked on the clock face by the maker or retailer: Montmoreau (see photos). The item is French in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item is sold in as found condition. The wood portions have chips and losses. The brass has dents and it all has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).The entire thing as shown measures about 1 foot 9 and 1/2 inches high, it is about 5 and 1/2 inches deep at the base and it is about 1 foot 1 and 3/4ths inches wide at the base. The brass face surround portion in total measures about 1 foot 3 inches high and it is about 11 inches wide. The clock face alone measures about 8 inches wide.
