Offered here is this wonderful Antique Aluminum Desk Top Caddy. This caddy is in very good condition, with only a few small dings, particularly in the feet. I am calling aluminum as it is a non-magnetic metal and is too light weight to be brass. The gold finish on it is worn off in some places, and the solder joint on the bottom inside has some light surface rust on it. I am unsure of the actual age of the caddy. It is stamped with Made in England on the bottom. I am guessing that it dates to the early half of the 20th Century, probably 1940's but could be as late the the 1950's. I am calling is a desk top caddy, as it would be a great way to organize and hold stationary, and pens, however, it could be a very nice plant holder as well. The caddy is 4" tall, 3.5" deep, 12" long and 4.25" wide. It is a very nice piece of vintage metalware, and has a very nice detailed rose pattern on it.
