Item description

Michael R. Pacitti 1947-2005 West Berlin, NJ Known as “The Painter of South Jersey” Our beloved Mike. Educated in the southern New Jersey school systems and Campbell University in North Carolina. He studied painting with Glen Rudderow (P.A.F.A.) and with Jeff Filbert and at various workshops. Mike exhibited widely at many juried art shows often winning awards. He painted using an ancient method of underpainting which is why his works look like old masters. Before I retired, my gallery had two special showings of Mike’s works and he was the professional restorer for our collection for years. He also built the home where I lived in New Jersey in the 90s and early 2000s. As the writing on the back states, Mike gave me this painting on my 45th birthday, and it is hard to part with. But I am 73 now and downsizing to a smaller home and cannot keep everything. Rather than store it away I want someone else to enjoy it as I have. I know Mike will understand. Oil on Masonite 4" x 9" signed lower left. dated '95 Outside frame dimensions are 8" x 12.5". FREE SHIPPING
