The glass inset sets within a goldtone metal square frame. The back of the cufflinks is round. This round piece moves around and when pulled, it comes out with a length of silvertone metal chain. THIS is the "clasp" or the way to place the cufflinks with the spring loaded chain being able to snap back and hold the cuffs in place!
