Item description

You will receive one perfectly Black Mission Fig Tree starter plant 4-6 inches tall. The Black Mission Fig is a self pollinating tree, and is one of the most dependable backyard varieties sold today. This tree produces a large fruit with a purplish-black skin during both the summer and the fall months. The average size of this plant is 40 feet high and 60 feet wide and requires full sun exposure and regular watering. These large, full-flavored fruits can be eaten fresh or used for drying and canning purposes. The Black Mission Fig is hardy in Zones 7-10. USDA ZONES: Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9, Zone 10 Planting First, decide on a planting location. Consider carefully what kind of sun, soil, and growing-space your tree or shrub will need. Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system. Once the tree is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material. Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets. When finished, water thoroughly. Care Plant fig trees in loamy soil and in a northern exposure. They need plenty of sunlight and room in order to grow and thrive. Fertilize once a year. Fig trees only require light pruning which should be done in late winter. #liveplant #bareroot #starterplant #seedling #plant #SeedsForSale #PlantSeeds #GardenSeeds #OrganicSeeds #GrowYourOwn #SeedlingsForSale #HomeGardening #VegetableSeeds #FlowerSeeds #HerbSeeds #SeedsForSale #GardenSeeds #PlantSeeds #GrowYourOwnFood #OrganicSeeds #SeedStarter #HomeGardening #HerbSeeds #VegetableSeeds #FlowerSeeds #PlantsForSale #Houseplants #GardenPlants #IndoorPlants #OutdoorPlants #PlantLovers #Succulents #FloweringPlants #RarePlants #PlantParent #seeds #seed #home #garden #beautiful #tree #flower #rose #bonsai #liveplant #fruit #vegetable #usa #usaseller #blooming #winter #summer #cutting #bareroot #spring #gift #fall #autumn #shrub #herb #root #houseplant #bulbs #gardening #plants #usaseller #grafted #pot #seedling #starterplant #rooted #yard #grass #trailing #balcony #cutflowers #OrganicSeeds #HeirloomSeeds #VegetableSeeds #FlowerSeeds #HerbSeeds #FruitSeeds #GardenSeeds #SeedStarter Kits #RareSeeds #BulkSeeds #IndoorGardeningSeeds #SeedCatalog #SeedPacksforSale #SustainableSeeds #GreenhouseSeeds #Seed Suppliers #PlantingSeeds #HomeGardenSeeds
