When extended there is a Nautic Star in the middle and the teak slats are laid as to provide a uniform appearance when both up and down. Instead of hinges and supports the table have a slide mechanism. The listing price is only for the table top only, the listing price does not include any table pedestal. We have 4 table pedestals that you can choose to order separately. For table tops that are 1 meter(40 inch) long and above, we recommned to use 2 table pedestals so it is more stable.
