Great story of what it would take to waste away a million dollars in 1902. George Barr McCutcheon (1866?1928) was an American popular novelist and playwright. His best known works include a series of novels set in Graustark, a fictional East European country, and the novel Brewster's Millions, published under his pen name Richard P. Greaves, which was adapted into a play and several films. McCutcheon, born and educated in Indiana, along with a number of other Indiana authors of the same period, is considered to be part of the Golden Age of Indiana Literature. Interior is tight, clean and, except for POS markings in pencil on ffep, unmarked. Hardcover has red cloth boards with black gold lettering and designs, but no DJ.
