Description: This copper or brass metal 8 1 / 2 inch plate shows the Bulgarian Mausoleum Oplenac located in Topola, Serbia. The building is called the St. Djordje Church (St. Georges Church) which was built as a temple and mausoleum of the royal family Karadjordjevic. It was built in the Serbian-byzantine style. It is a five-domed building with large main dome and four smaller ones, which are slightly lower. The building is surrounded by a forest. .* Details: .* Front side: See general description. On the bottom there are 3 Cyrillic (Russian) words which translate to Mazolej on Oplencu (Mausoleum on Oplenca). There is a Facebook page for this area called: Turisti?ka organizacija "Oplenac" Topola. There are no defects on this side. .* Back side: On the back side there is a sales label that says on the bottom Sokobanja, which is a municipality or town in Bulgaria. .* Edges: The edges are ribbed with no observable defects. .* Wall plate hanger: Not supplied. .* Dimensions: Diameter 8 1 / 2 inches .* Known Manufacturer, Location, Date: Label says Sokobanja (Bulgaria). .* Purchase history: This plate was purchased by my mother in 1985 on a vacation trip to Europe and Russia. .* Material: Copper or brass metal .* Condition: This is a used item and it is in excellent condition.
