Item description

From Milton Bradley, this is a charming Charles Wysocki jigsaw puzzle titled "Plum Valley" and numbered 04679-Q20. In Wysocki's "Americana" folk art style, the old-fashioned and idyllic scene centers around Millie's, where local folks can buy apples and root beer and - of course - plums. In the background are colorful, flower-covered hills and an orchard; out in front a horse-drawn cart is being loaded for delicious deliveries of Millie's Pies. Puzzle is dated 2005 and comes in the older-style blue box. It has 1000 pieces and measures 22-9/32" X 25-9/16โ€ when assembled. Pieces are in excellent condition, nice and glossy with very clean edges. They have been stored in three plastic zip-loc baggies to prevent loss; one baggie contains the edge pieces, and I'm not sure how the rest are divided up between the other baggies (I would think probably one with all the green grass and one with the trees and buildings and whatnot, but my aunt was the one who worked it and I don't know for sure). Box shows some wear and age, and the bottom part has tape on it, but the lid is in sturdy shape with no tape and the picture on it looks good. This is a previously assembled puzzle. I am selling a number of puzzles that come primarily from my family's two vacation homes, where they have been well taken care of and are normally marked regarding any missing pieces. This puzzle has been designated as being complete, so all pieces should be present, however I have not worked this one personally. I will accept a return if there is a problem, but I don't believe that will happen (honestly my aunt who worked this one and packed the pieces so carefully would never let it come to me incomplete). Asking $18.00 obo. Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer. ~~~~~ ALL ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP. I sell a huge variety of stuff to supplement my income and help me put the last of my kids through college. Some items come from flea markets or estate sales, and some come from around our home, but many items come to me from my extended family of hardcore hoarders. So, the variety really can be vast and unpredictable. Please check back often, because you really never know what I will have from one day to the next! Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
