For oral hygiene Chlorhexamed mouth gel supports the treatment of bacterial gum inflammation (gingivitis), in the healing phase after periodontal surgery, but also in cases of limited oral hygiene ability (for example after orthodontic treatment). Chlorhexamed mouth gel is used immediately after brushing the teeth (by applying it to the areas to be treated using a cotton swab) or by applying it to the toothbrush. A contact time of at least one minute should always be observed. If applied with a toothbrush, the mouth should be rinsed thoroughly with water afterwards, if used as a spot-applied, anti-inflammatory gel, no subsequent rinsing should be carried out.
