How should cold cream be used? Always use cold cream exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet. Cold cream is used in the nose area. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Put a pea-sized amount of cold cream into the nose several times a day. In the case of an acute cold, the cream is applied to the outside of the nose. In small children aged 2 to 5 years, apply the cold cream only slightly to the entrance to the nose. The treatment of an acute illness should be stopped after 2 weeks to be finished. If there is no improvement within 2 - 5 days, a doctor should be consulted.
