The figurine depicts a woman in colonial costume, wearing a red and white dress with yellow, blue and green trim. The dress is decorated with hand-painted roses. There is a stamp "Made in Occupied Japan" underneath. Figurines of this type were produced in Japan in the 40`s by various manufacturers. The figurine has small gold spots on the dress and two red spots from red paint on the blue stripe of the dress, which is due to the fact that it was hand-painted.
