EARL MacPHERSON 1940s PIN-UP GIRL PLAYING CARD (POSTING IS FOR ONE INDIVIDUAL CARD) These cards are in very good condition, but they are not pristine, as they were obviously used sometime in the past. There may be some light wear evident front or back. Each card has a very small B B copyright in the lower right corner, as pictured. As of the date of this posting, there is a complete deck with all 52 cards. This posting, however, is for just one of the cards. In the 1940s and 1950s Earl MacPherson (1910-1993) was famous for choosing sexy models as pin-up girls. He was discussed in 1956 in Pinups Uncovered: ?When choosing a model, Earl MacPherson likes his high-voltage cuties to between 17 and 21 years old. ?This is because people who look at them want to think of them as unmarried and fancy-free,? claimed the tall, handsome artist. ?With a girl who?s older, there?s always the guilty feeling that she?s somebody else?s wife.?
