The 45 record has been plated over a real black vinyl record and then polished to a mirror finish. The frame is made of wood and has a beautiful black lacquer finish. Double matted with both a red and black mat to produce the deep shadowbox effect. This display has what is known as Museum Glass which is a UV protected framers grade acrylic which is non-breakable.
