This listing is for your choice of any of the plates shown. You can choose the heart shape plate or the dog bone shape. All heart plates are available in red, silver or gold, and the bone plates in white, silver or gold. Choose Block or Script style font for the engraving. The heart plate comes in two sizes, the large one measures 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" and the smaller one measures 2" x 1-3/4". The bone plate measures 3"W x 1-3/8"H. Design choices include: Paw Prints, Bones, Hearts, Double Hearts or Text-Only. The plates have pressure sensitive adhesive on the back, so you just peel and stick. Plexi-brass is two layers of a plastic type material, which resemble brass. The engraving machine cuts through the first layer, exposing the black (or white) layer beneath it. This is preferable to many people, as the print shows clearly against the color of the plate, unlike a brass plate where the engraving would be the same color. It is also ideal for outdoor use, as it will not tarnish or fade, and again, you can clearly see the print. My customers use these for a variety of purposes; outdoor headstones, indoor urns, scrapbooks, shadowboxes, frames, etc. Typically, the engraving consists of your pet's name, date of birth and date of death.
