Vol. 1, No. 70, January, 1968. "When Fall the Mighty!" Reed Richards, Johnny Storm, and the police locate the Mad Thinker's hideout and battle his androids while trying to restore the Thing's normal personality. Meanwhile, the Thing, confused and angry, causes chaos in the city and makes his way toward the Thinker's lab, eventually confronting Reed and Johnny in a destructive showdown. As the Mad Thinker is arrested but secretly activates an android, a final clash erupts at the Baxter Building, leading to a dramatic moment where the Thing is blasted unconscious, just as Sue arrives to witness the chaos.
