Meanwhile, the Thing, confused and angry, causes chaos in the city and makes his way toward the Thinker's lab, eventually confronting Reed and Johnny in a destructive showdown. As the Mad Thinker is arrested but secretly activates an android, a final clash erupts at the Baxter Building, leading to a dramatic moment where the Thing is blasted unconscious, just as Sue arrives to witness the chaos.
