Filter is comes in shrink wrap packaging with no box or instructions other O ring use/ installation; does not come with purchase. There is some missing paint along edge/ rim of filter but no damage. It is all cosmetic. No rusting, indentations, dents, or dings. There is some type of splatter on plastic packaging, does not affect product or its function.
