Up for sale is a Forest Grove, Oregon OR Wirtz Bros. Confectionery Store 5 Trade Token
Wirtz Bros, John J. Wirtz Robert Paul Wirtz, barbers (-1896-) John J. Wirtz confectionery (-1903-1905)(Token Catalog). John Wirtz was a coin collector and had a rare 1878 silver dollar error coin which was stolen in a burglary in May 1900. A news article in September of that year shows he got the coin back. The token is made of brass and measures 21mm in diameter.
