Excellent condition for the age, no apparent damage. Estimated to be 19th century German manufacture although there are no identifying markings. Appearance wise at worst there are a few small areas that should have a light cleaning which can likely be done with just about anything however I have not cleaned or retouched it in any way. About 11 1/8" tall this well attired and mannered young man might draw a snicker today but in past centuries this was what every mother wanted their daughter to marry. A refined and wealthy man who never once in his life did manual labor. Seriously though it is very period and of the highest quality craftsmanship. Top quality collector's item, not something seen every day. Estimated at two pounds packaged for shipping purposes.
