Item description

Rarely available and hard to find this size bird eating tarantula from South America. There are many venomous spiders in the Amazon, but among the largest of these spiders is the Pamphobeteus antinous tarantula. They belong to the Tarantula family of Theraphosidae. All Theraphoisidae are venomous, but only very few have strong enough toxins to do harm to humans and the P. antinous is not part of that select group. They are known to eat insects and on occasion birds, mice and lizards. ~ Species: Pamphobeteus antinous ~ Tarantula ( 8” across ! ! ! ) ~ Native Origin: Peru ~ Frame Details: + Museum Quality Display with archival mat all materials and built to last a lifetime. + 9” H x 9” W x 1 ” D. + High-quality shadowbox frame with glass window and picture hanger included. + Background: Insect name and origin printed on Old World-style parchment paper. ~ ~ ~ Our creations are better than old-fashioned museum displays and designed to last for a lifetime, We are using the latest technology (clear silicon) for sealing and double protection for most expensive projects. This is why our artwork with butterflies and insects is being used by many interior designers for creating exceptional displays. ~ ~ ~ Avoid exposure to extremes of temperature, humidity, or to direct sunlight. With proper care you will enjoy this marvel of the natural world for many decades to come. ~ ~ ~ * We can also ship international, please contact us for rates. 2009 - 2015 Butterflies Artist, All Legal Rights Reserved.
