It is machine washable on a gentle cycle and can go in the dryer on a low setting. If it needs ironing cover it first with a damp paper towel and iron on a nylon setting - NOT COTTON. - That is too hot. The elastic bands are 10" long, thin and they're easier on the ears. The knot has been left exposed so you can adjust it if necessary; if not you can slide it into the casing. My masks are handmade in the U.S. with love and concern for humanity. Stay safe!
