Use these tips to help achieve the best results for optimum contact and less failure. Tip 1 Make sure the trim always has 3/4" of adhesive contact on the window frame. Tip 2 Though our adhesive is water-resistant, vinyl surfaces must be free of dust, oil, and moisture to create the strongest bond. Tip 3 Apply a final bead of caulking to achieve permanent seal between the trim and drywall. If the gap the trim is covering exceeds 1", be sure to use a quality elastomeric sealant to hold trim to drywall.
