Pre-viewed for quality and plays fine, cassette is nice and clean too. Box is a little shelf worn on the bottom corners and has a small dry sticker spot on the bottom right spine.
New York 1951, the middle of the McCarthy era. A young woman overhears a plot to smuggle Nazi war criminals into the U.S. She's already lost her job because of accusations of subversion, and it's not easy persuading FBI agent Jeff Daniels that she knows what she's talking about.
Moderately effective thriller, in a style close to Hitchcock.
