I'm thinking "scrapbook"! What an original idea for that special person. This is an original, vintage Valentine from Hallmark. Dated 1947 Hall Brothers, inc. Glitter on the front makes this all the nicer. Measures 4 3/4" X 5 3/4". Condition is VG++ (very good ++). This has been removed from another scrapbook, so the back cover has removal marks and tears. The front picture is great as depicted in photo. Inside personal sentiment/date could most likely be camouflaged with creative embellishments, or cut altogether.
