Item description

ONE GOT AWAY by Harry Whittington SHADY LADY by Cleve F. Adams Ace Double D-115, 1955 Both First Editions Condition: Near Very Good These two short mystery novels are published in this Ace Double for the first time. Whittington was one of the most prolific and popular (and now most collectible) paperback writers of the '50s and '60s. SHADY LADY was Adams' last novel. This solid copy has some cover creasing, some wear and reading creases on spine and a last name written on the reverse of both covers. Except for a very few small corner creases and page yellowing, the text is nice, clean and unmarked. The book is uncommon.
