One of my favorite pieces of trivia about Fire Fae is that miners used to ask Witches for their help. They would use the Fire Fae as guides to rare elements, like gold and silver. This practice became very popular in Eastern Europe. It got so popular that the Catholic Church stepped in and abolished the use of these magnificent beings. They did this because too many people were becoming independently wealthy and were not tithing the church. It had nothing to do with the use of Magick or calling upon occult beings. The, quite frankly, weirdest thing she does is pluck her vessel's eye lashes. For the first 4 years she was with me, I probably replaced them about every three months.
