This If Poem Print, a copy of the Rudyard Kipling 1910 poem, is framed, with glass. It has a 'gifted to' stamp on the back that says it was 'given to my son, from mom, May 12, 1944, for your 37 Birthday'. Also on the back in the lower right corner it says 'Copyright The Buzza Company, MPLS, USA'. The size is 6.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches tall, outside measurements of the frame. Very good condition.
The Buzza Company, founded by George Buzza in 1907, was a prominent greeting card and stationary manufacturer based in Minneapolis. It initially focused on posters but later transitioned to greeting cards, becoming a major player in the industry by the 1920s and 1930s. The company eventually merged with another company in 1928, and Buzza sold his interest in 1929, retiring to California. The Buzza Company continued in business until 1942, when it was liquidated due to losses, according to the Hennepin County Library.
