Imperial Glass NUCUT Line #212 Diamond w Fan and/or Star Fan Pattern Comport / Jelly Comport This is a beautiful cut glass vintage Comport or Jelly Comport from Imperial Glass. It is the NUCUT Line #212 in the Diamond with Fan and/or Star and Fan pattern. Also great for a candy or nut dish. Top edged is scalloped and has a saw tooth design. The bottom or foot also has a saw tooth edge. It is marked in the middle of the bottom of the dish with the Imperial Mark "LIG" On December 26, 1972, stockholders voted to sell the Company to the Lenox Corporation. Official new ownership commenced January 1, 1973. The Company first began using this mark in June 1977. Registration application was made July 11, 1978. The 'LIG' was in use until June 26, 1981. It is small but also heavy. It stands about 4 to 4 1/4 inches in height. Top diameter is about 4 1/2 inches across and base is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter.
