Created in 1987. “Although she is still a child, Hsi-chun yearns to become a nun and live a reclusive, contemplative life away from the intrigue and turmoil of the Yungkuo mansion. She possesses a great talent for sketching and painting, and early in A Dream of Red Mansions, the novel which inspired this limited-edition plate series, a long passage describes Hsi-chun at work on her art in her private suite in the palace, and so the story begins.” I also have the 2nd, 3rd and the 1st plates in this series, unfortunately the 1st plate is damaged, but this one and the 2nd and 3rd are in perfect condition.
