It can also be used as a ground cover plant. It will tolerate shade. On walls, it may discolour or burn on a south wall. It can also be used as an indoor houseplant. It is also easy to propagate in water. We will send you Ivy Cuttings for you to start. Strip away the bottom leaves, leaving some nodes behind. Place the ivy in water. Use a clear glass container (Allows you to see the progress. Leave in bright, indirect light and temperatures of 65-80F (18-27C) for 4-6 weeks. Change the water every other week unless it looks dirty. If the water seems to be dirty, you can change it weekly. Do make sure you top off the water regularly to keep the nodes of the stem completely submerged. Keep the leaves above the waterline. There should be roots growing within three weeks, and your ivy should be ready to transplant within four to six weeks. Transplant the cuttings to soil when the roots grow to about two inches long.
