Item description

JAN SAUDEK renowned Czech photographer in the world, born in Prague in 1935, 100% Original '' Purgatory" # 352 Model print Finished October 22, 1888 (Jan Saudek dated his work 100 years earlier.) Signed Lower right and artist writing on edge Silver gelatin print, Hand colored 28,5 cm x 39 cm 11,2 Inch x 15,4 Inch Jan Saudek dated my aunt from Germany, who was visiting him. He took pictures of her in his trademark basement with the peeling paint, and with his trademark dolls. He gave her 5 original prints, (and the ones he took of her) which she gave to me. She also has many letters he wrote to her and he always designed the envelopes he sent his letters in. His erotic and personal photographs are hand colored with gorgeous colors and most of them were produced under communist rule. Most important world collections include his unique work.
