Item description

Thick-walled, beautiful pointed pepper has full-bodied flavor and is one of the best for roasting. I dried a number this season to make a spicy powder. Kalugerista is native to Northern Macedonia and the name comes from a small village there. The peppers are broad at the shoulder, about 4 inches long, and a little hotter than a jalapeno. As you can see, they ripen from green to lemon yellow, reaching a brilliant red in about 85 days. I'll send 50+ seeds in a packet by first class mail.
