Item description

In this exciting and challenging range of large jigsaw puzzles, we give you the opportunity to enjoy the splendour and the diverse character of Australia, from the cities to the wilderness. I love Uluru, because it is like the beating heart in the centre of our nation. The Aboriginal people believe it to be the place where all dreams come from. When you stand in the presence of this huge monolith you are humbled by the awesome power of something greater than self. In this photo, the golden early morning light is striking Uluru, giving it a radiant glow. The spinifex grass in the foreground is home to numerous species of animal life, which seek shelter deep within the dense vegetation from the stifling heat. Although the grass appears soft, it is quite prickly and sharp. Resin from these grasses was used by the native Aboriginal as a glue or bonding material, strengthening their spear heads. 2001 piece Jigsaw Puzzle Approximate finished size 1000mm x 700mm Ken Duncan Images of Australia - Uluru, NT (2000pc)
