Put some silver polish in the bowl and added some elbow grease, warm/hot water and then cleaned by hand with ivory soap and WOW! it looks very presentable now. It still needs a deep cleaning if you want to get rid of all the oxidation but it has better depth with a bit in the crevices. Kirk Stief pattern #1723 which dates it between 1950-1970.
