Item description

Weighing in st 2.61 ounces of pure, hallmarked, Sterling Silver this amazing and peculiar Dutch fertility spoon has a whole lot going on. Not only do you have one stork on the top but two and they are both being held up by two adorable cherub angels. Underneath them you have a young lad looking out to the future with one hand and with the other hand he's clutching a sword. Next, all of that is followed by four double twists on the handle and then at the bottom another cherub. In the spoon bowl itself we have a classic scene of a Dutch windmill surrounded by trees. Also in the bowl of the spoon there are little tiny birds next to its hallmarked silver mark which we have pictured in a close up for you. Whoever purchases this great spoon will not only be getting an unusual and very rare spoon that is over 100 years old, they'll also be getting $60.00 worth of silver at today's rate which is $30.48 per ounce as of 6/3/2024.
