This is a nice large heavy old hand carved wooden statue of an Asian man (see photos). The item has been hand carved of wood and he is very heavy and well carved (see photos). The figure looks to Asian and he looks to be a God or warrior of some type, but I do not know who it depicts (see photos). The item is not marked by the carver or artist (see photos). The carving looks to depict an Asian man and he looks to be Chinese to me. I believe that the carving is from China for the origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The large statue measures in total about 1 foot 11 and 1/2 inches high, it is about 6 inches thick from the front side to the back side at the base and it is about 1 foot 2 inches wide from side to side. The item has some splits in the wood from age, some scuffs, some finish losses and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
